Buying Spanish Property
Obviously, great care must be taken when buying real estate in any country in the world and the same is true here on mainland Spain. When you purchase from a relative stranger (like a man you met in a bar or restuarant (were not suggesting that you just hang around in Spanish bars and restaurants by the way)) you are just asking for trouble, but by following a few simple and common sense rules it is a very straight forward and safe process. Buyers must take care that they do not buy a vastly over priced or over valued property by studying the local markets, comparing not just the actual price but the location also. Remember it is very easy to get carried away when you are in a foreign country with a fist full of money looking for that Property Abroad, dream home, so take care before you buy anything.

Selling Spanish Property
Much of the above is true about selling your property in Spain, with or without an estate agent. With the aid of a good (recomemended, but not necesarily recommended by the estate agency) multi lingual lawyer the whole transaction can be finished quickly and with minimal fuss. Spanish property (new villas, new apartments, holiday rentals etc) is still selling if the price is right, although it can be said that there are not the number of buyers around as there was a few years ago. Visit all the local agents and consider selling your Spanish property yourself or at the very least advertising your property in Spain, privately. However, we would recommend that you leave it with us here at VIP and let us take even more hassel out of the Spanish Property jungle!

Spanish Property Rental
Property rental is still a big part of the economy of Spain, with millions of visitors each year renting direct from owners and Spanish agents (or English agents based in Spain). If you just put a small advert in your local paper and then sit back, you won't get many bookings! But with a little thought and marketing, good returns are possible.

People having property built here in Spain will often want to come to Spain prior to the property hand-over to watch there dream villa being built, so that they can monitor the progress and make sure things are being built on time and to specifications.

Visitors looking to find a villa or apartment to rent for their summer holiday may contact us and we will endevour to direct you to right persons, with loads of accommodation ready to book in many top locations, resorts and combinations available. Independent travel is a very simple process and by booking direct you can save loads of money by avoiding travel agents commissions.
